Wallpaper images are offset after every boot on KDE

This has been happening for a while but I've never been bothered to fix it because I've never seen anyone with a similar issue (so troubleshooting it blind would be a PITA) and because turning both monitors on and off gets them to the correct position.

So basically, as the title suggest, after almost every reboot my wallpaper images get offset by what I feel is a random amount (sorry I never documented the occurrences).

DesktopSC

My Arch is up to date, and I'm using KDE 6.1.3, X11, with a GTX1050.

lspci -n -n -k | grep -A 2 -e VGA -e 3D` returns
08:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: NVIDIA Corporation GP107 [GeForce GTX 1050] [10de:1c81] (rev a1)

Re: Wallpaper images are offset after every boot on KDE

Please use

tags. Edit your post in this regard.
Then post the entire X11 log and also the output of "xrandr -q"

Likely kscreen is altering the layout during the session start, try to remove its config, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/KDE#Un … lution_set

Likely kscreen is altering the layout during the session start, try to remove its config

Re: Wallpaper images are offset after every boot on KDE

You're not lookign for any xorg.conf's in the kscreen path but kscreen configs and the idea is to remove those.
It probably stumbles over +382  - if deleting the kscreen files doesn't fix it, try to configure the position via xorg, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Multih … _xorg.conf
