Hi, it's been a few days, Arch do not recognize any usb keys (2usb fat32 tested)
I checked help on forum and found this forum discussion
Tl;dr of the discussion: system is not up to date
For me all it's up to date, all my pakages.
i have a same dmesg output :
`[ 646.056722] usb 2-4: USB disconnect, device number 5
[ 654.437715] usb 2-1: new SuperSpeed USB device number 6 using xhci_hcd
[ 654.455450] usb 2-1: New USB device found, idVendor=0bc2, idProduct=200b, bcdDevice= 0.01
[ 654.455463] usb 2-1: New USB device strings: Mfr=2, Product=3, SerialNumber=1
[ 654.455469] usb 2-1: Product: Expansion HDD
[ 654.455473] usb 2-1: Manufacturer: Seagate
[ 654.455477] usb 2-1: SerialNumber: 00000000NACHNKFJ`
and lsusb output:
`Bus 002 Device 006: ID 0bc2:200b Seagate RSS LLC Expansion HDD`
I don't really know what is the problem because it's happening suddenly
Thank you

Have you had a kernel update since you last rebooted? If the kernel is updated the modules for the running kernel are deleted so no new filesystem types can be read without a reboot.

Well you could unpack the modules from the package cache but rebooting is probably simpler ![]()
