HP ProBook RealTek Wifi

I  have a HP probook 445 with a realtek wifi NIC that i cannot seem to figure out the low power setup
The card disappears even if the system is being used and not idle.
the scenario fits troubleshooting  6.6.6 from the wiki and I created the /etc/modprobe.d/iwlmvm.conf based on the suggestion but no difference was observed.
I tried different DE to try and determine if it was something specific to KDE, but the issue still appeared.
turned off power saving which also had no impact
checked BIOS for power setting for the wifi card and there was nothing specific to the wifi. however,  I did disable WOL just in case
In my research i read the realtek can be problematic and I do have an intel card i could put in place but before i did that i wanted to make sure there wasnt something else I was missing in my troubleshooting
