How to make neovim accept foot terminal's ctrl+shift+c as a copy/yank?

Hello again!

I'm having a spot of trouble with neovim and foot. I have copy pasting set up properly, I think (wl-clipboard is installed, neovim clipboard is set to unnamedplus), and while pasting into nvim is no problem using either 'P' from nvim or ctrl+shift+v on foot (works with stuff copied either from nvim itself or other applications), copying only works with the yank 'Y' nvim command and not ctrl+shift+c. I've tried looking all over for a solution to this problem. but I cannot find anything that solves it.

neovim version: v0.10.1
foot version: 1.18.1
wl-clipboard version: 2.2.1
sway version: 1.9

Thanks in advance for any help!
