[SOLVED] Weird behaviour with time formats & special characters in ter

On KDE Plasma, changing the time format from Default (US) to English (UK) causes terminal emulators (tested with konsole and kitty) to not display the block Unicode character "█". This breaks certain apps(?) like cava as well as running a watch command on a script to periodically print the block Unicode character. I checked my locale.conf and I only have:

/etc/locale.conf

LANG=en_US.UTF-8

and

/etc/vconsole.conf

KEYMAP=us

I'm not really sure if this is a bug in KDE or I have done something to my arch install (highly likely..)

Did you try enabling en_GB in your locale.conf and recreating the locales yet?

So that's what it was!! I had no idea that I needed to enable en_GB.UTF-8 and regenerate my locales! but I only switched the time format and not my default locale.. well anyway it's fixed now. Thank you so much!
