I have followed this ArchWiki page to install KMSCON: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/KMSCON.
Everything works fine, except for the fact that when I run exit to log out from the KMSCON VT, it doesn't show a new login prompt, instead it just seems to hang up in a no-operational state. I have to restart that VT (systemctl restart kmsconvt@ttyn) from another terminal to get the login prompt again. I have read the wiki thoroughly, but nothing has been mentioned about this problem. For comparison, this is the behaviour seen in the kernel TTYs.
Is it just me or do others also face this problem? Any idea on how to solve this?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
