Try reinstalling bash and coreutils.

A serious question: why would you install a bleeding-edge distribution like Arch on a production-system like a root-server AND at the same time even use testing? Does not sound like a very good idea to me for various reasons.

You shouldn't use testing if you don't know how to fix such problems

I had this happen to me once before - I had to reinstall glibc and/or gcc. When it says "No such file or directory" it's actually talking about one of the dependencies of the app you're trying to run.

It is also a good idea to run pacman -Syu as this also loads a fresh copy of the master package list.

My mkinitcpio.conf and grub/menu.lst was reset after the upgrade. After I chose the right modules and the right orderin mkinitcpio.conf and rebuilt my menu.lst it worked again. Of course, this was my personal experience with the 2.6.20 upgrade of archlinux.
Best regards,
Martin
