[SOLVED] Is pacman 7 stable released officially? Why is r3 tag?

Recent pacman upgrade has version string as 7.0.0.r3.g7736133-1

So I was just curious that if pacman 7 "stable" is officially released yet?

If it is stable then why does it have release (r3.g7735133) tag? Why not just 7.0.0?

If stable version is not yet officially released then would it not be proper to wait till stable version is released? Why so much hurry? Why not still keep it in testing repo?

Please clarify.

Because it's using 3 commits beyond the 7.0.0 release

Oh ok got it. I was under impression that r3 meant release candidate 3.

pacman 7.0.0 was officially release on the 7th of July!
