Pacman -Sy issues,

So i just installed Arch on a PC im planning to host my Discord bot on. When i run pacman -Sy, i get this output:

root@hostingpc:~# pacman -Sy
:: Synchronizing package databases...
core is up to date
extra is up to date
error: restricting filesystem access failed because the landlock rule for the temporary download directory could not be added!
root@hostingpc:~#

Can anyone help?

Re: Pacman -Sy issues,

Are you using an ancient kernel? Custom kernel?

Re: Pacman -Sy issues,

Both are options, as well as others. I left my post general in hopes the OP would explain what their setup is. We need to know to know what direction to go for a solution.
