I am lately having keyboard issues in archlinux. Sometimes the keys won't get registered at all, and sometimes the keyboard does not work at all. Like if I physically pressed h e l l o it would show up as heo lo or similar. But sometimes it just works. Sometimes when I press a key, it is not registered automatically and if I press it twice or thrice the result will be delayed but the key will be repeatedly typed by itself.
First I thought may be my keyboard is faulty, but then I tried to use it in other device(an android tv and another windows PC) it worked finely well.
Then to check whether it was a problem with the distro, I changed distro as well but it occured there as well. Same when I installed Windows.
I tried reseting BIOS, nothing changed about the issue. I also faced same issue while navigating BIOS menu.
Also I tried different keyboard but it was the same.
My keyboard: Logitech K120 wired keyboard
Handle 0x0000, DMI type 0, 24 bytes

It has been fixed, sorry I should have it posted user kernel and hardware, the issue was in the power port

How did you fix this? Recently running into the same issue, tried multiple different distros, usb cables - on Windows on the same machine everything is fine, on any linux distro it is not!
