Grisbi - GTK Problem

Hello,

since few days and latest arch updates, i can't launch grisbi. ( a finance manager)

I installed it from flatpak.

error is:

flatpak run org.grisbi.Grisbi

(grisbi:2): Gtk-WARNING **: 11:17:46.746: cannot open display:

An idea ?

Thank you!

Re: Grisbi - GTK Problem

I installed it from flatpak.

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages?K=grisbi

It tries to open an X11 display but the DISPLAY isn't set. Is this a wayland session?

Yes it's wayland.

Archlinux on latest updates. Is there a way to launch this app with X11 ?

Thank you.

Re: Grisbi - GTK Problem

What compositor??  You need to ensure XWayland is enabled by the compositor and / or start it yourself.

Though using the the AUR package would be better overall and it should then run natively on wayland.

Re: Grisbi - GTK Problem

And installed:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Wayland#Xwayland
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Wayland#GTK

Wayland might fail b/c of https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Flatpa … nd_display and hence
