Windows installer cannot detect drivers after installing archlinux

Hi all,

I want to install Windows again on my main pc (7800x3D CPU and 7800XT GPU), but when boot on my USB and enter the installation, it says "A media driver your computer needs is missing. This could be a DVD, USB or Hard disk driver."
I have no idea how I can fix this, since this problem is SPECIFICALLY after I installed arch (with archinstall script where I enabled LUKS encryption (I do not know if that is relevant)). I have had Debian 12 for a while before using archlinux, where I did not have this problem.

It appears to me that the installer cant detect the SSD inside my pc because I used LUKS, but after going into cmd (Shift + f10) and typing: "diskpart" and "select disk 0" and "clean", the installation media is still not detecting anything. I also tried the same stuff out on my laptop (HP Victus) (also running arch with archinstall script and LUKS), but it doesn't work with my laptop either, where it had worked in the past before using arch.

I've searched for hours online looking for a solution, but nothing has been working for me. Does someone know what the problem can be?

That's very close to impossible. Did you ever actually "started the Windows installer" on this system or was it preinstalled with Windows and you wiped it?

Chances are whatever Windows media you're using is old, check whether a newer service pack variant exists, or search for chipset/hard disk/SSD drivers for Windows (from your mainboard vendor for example) that you can put on a distinct USB stick to install from the install media.

In any case, this really isn't an Arch problem, please ask on a Windows support forum for help with this.

Tempted to close, but leaving it for now so you can check at the same subboard.
