Problems with timeshift snapshots

FS - btrfs
Setup for autocreating snapshots on updates with timeshift-autosnap + grub-btrfs

I wanted to test how does timeshift backups work and now I'm pretty sure if u restore from backup u will use it as your main system(?) while you don't restore from another snapshot. So main system in untouched after first restore.
Also if i manage to break main system ill have to boot via snapshot and use it as main system.

I checked on which snapshot i was with: mount | grep "subvol"
and after my test restore i was always on some of my snapshots. Also snapshot created before restore ARE related to snapshot i was booted on before restore. It makes it even more difficult

So for example i have snap1 and snap2
snap2 -> (creating snapshot before restore, related to snap2) -> snap1
and if i delete snap2 my restore snapshot stops work as well.

I even managed to crash my system with it. For the first time when i used timeshift i booted after restore and wanted to delete my test snapshots. My system was booted on it, so it crashed without any way to restore (at least idk, cuz im linux noob)

Also when i boot on snapshot every change i make is impacting this snapshot and not anything else

It wouldn't be a problem for me, but i have everyday automated snapshot creating and also before every update via pacman -Syu. They are limited, so older snapshots would get deleted after some time. If ill boot with this snapshot my system will crash as there is no more snapshot i was using.

So can i merge snapshot with my main system smh? Or maybe I'm using it wrong?

Would appreciate any advice on how to use it or maybe best practices or how you use timeshift on daily basis.
