I got the above after doing pacman -Syu... Any ideas?

Yes, you put that file over there as workaround for the hal rootfs-shows-twice bug, and now it got included into udev

err.. i don't remember putting that file....

any ideas how i do i go about from here?

I tried deleting the file and it seems to upgrade fine after that... but i still don't get the 'put that file over there' part..
