Have you tried Panzer Corps 1 & 2 ?

Never tried it on linux, but I always liked https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crimson_Skies

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/linux-air-combat is worth a try, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/List_o … Simulation has more titles

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Re: What are some native Linux "Military Simulators"?

how about one of the classics: ArmA3
wait for the next sale - grab it as bundle including the DLCs - and enjoy 10.000+ hours of random RPG to full blown real milsim
if you want something more modern: ArmA Reforger
and when it finally releases: Arm4

Bohemia takes the linux community serious and it works out of the box with working BattlEye even on SteamDeck (yea, take that Rockstar!)

Re: What are some native Linux "Military Simulators"?

DiD's EF2000 still works under DOSBOX and the single player campaign is better than anything current flight simulators (DCS) has to offer. EDIT: sorry, that's not native, I should read better.

Counter Strike 1.6 & Source are better simulators than CS:GO or CS2, they use random spray patterns for the weapons, just like the real thing.
