The unstable package tiacx used to work fine for my wireless D-Link card (DWL-G520+). But the new one tiacx 20070101-1 seems to give a kernel panic. The acx module loads without a problem, but when I try to connect to de AP, it does connect, but after a few seconds (10 - 20) the whole system crashes.

Same over here.
I just upgraded to kernel 2.6.20 and tiacx 20070101-1. My card is a linksys wpc54g v2.
The module loads and seems to connect, then throws up a kernel panic.

Ok, a quick follow up.
I just tried 070101-1 with my us robotics usr2210 which is an acx100 while the wpc54g is an acx111. It still throws up a kernel panic.
The message it keeps spitting out is "atkbd.c: Spurious ACK on isa0060/serio0. Some program might be trying to access hardware directly."
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as my laptop doesn't have an ethernet jack.

I got this problem too Me happy I'll just wait for you to fix it ^^
BTW my laptop just "hangs" with blinking lights on laptop so its "kinda" hard to say what causes it. (either kernel .20 or acx)

My machine contains a D-Link DWL-G520+ and I also suffer from a kernel panic upon booting (kernel26).

Using ndiswrapper may help in the meantime. I use it with the same card and works fine. Remove the tiacx package to avoid the kernel panic and wait to the next update.

I rather switch to kernel26-beyond and kernel26-ck which work fine.
We had another update today but it did not improve anything at all. Network is still not working and neither is the GUI. kernel26-ck seems to work fine.
It's strange that Kernel 2.6.20 won't work, but the patched seems to do. Could be because of the seperate nvidia and tiacx packages, which seem to work in contrary to the ones used by kernel26.
