Hi
I've discovered that my processor is not running at optimal settings. Its maximum base frequency is 2.2GHz, but it's somehow capped at 1.7GHz. I can't find where this limit is set. Interestingly, after disconnecting and reconnecting the power supply, it briefly runs correctly before dropping back down to 1.7GHz. Where should I look for a solution?

analyzing CPU 10:
driver: intel_pstate
CPUs which run at the same hardware frequency: 10
CPUs which need to have their frequency coordinated by software: 10
maximum transition latency: Cannot determine or is not supported.
hardware limits: 800 MHz - 1.70 GHz
available cpufreq governors: performance powersave
current policy: frequency should be within 800 MHz and 1.70 GHz.
The governor "powersave" may decide which speed to use

What is printed to the journal when the maximum changes?

journalctl -fmshows nothing...

Perhaps check the firmware ("BIOS") settings?

I think I found the reason. throttled is responsible for lowering the clock speed. But I don't know why it's doing it on power plugged.
