System freezes after wakeup from suspend

Hello, on my ThinkPad E14 Gen 3 (AMD), after i wake up from suspend, the screen turns on, but the system is completely frozen.

The journal cuts off after suspend

Could be related, but when mine wakes up, it shows lock screen, but it's unresponsive, ctrl+alt+fnX doesn't work too, but that makes sense, given that the journal doesn't resume.

You do have the  same stupid mediatek chip => https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 9#p2202429 has been confirmed mitigation, so I'd try that first.

The kernel parameter didn't work as well. LTS works. Do you suggest that i keep using it until it gets patched?

Did you see the complex situation surrounding bluetooth (the nature of this bug is still somewhat blurry)?
You can and should use the LTS kernel for a system matching your needs, but I'd keep an eye on the bug and not just hope for it to go away. As mentioned: mediatek has this quite a lot sad
