Calendars in KOrganizer change colour

Hello,

I've a .ical file based calendar and a CalDAV web based calendar in KOrganizer. When I open the settings of the digital clock applet of KDE's taskbar and subscribe to either or both of those calendars and then open the calendar by clicking on the digital clock applet the displayed appointments will change colour every time the applet's calendar is opened. If both calendars are subscribed to they'll each have a different colour from each other. If I open KOrganizer the calendar's colour is set to whatever was last  displayed in the applet's calendar instead of what the colour was last set to.

On top of that, if I change the calendar colour of the WebDAV calendar it will not immediately change the appointments but I have to restart KOrganizer. With the iCal calendar the change is immediate.

If I have KOrganizer open while opening the applet's calendar I can see that the calendar colour of all subscribed calendars changes with every click. Meaning they change once when clicking to open the calendar and they change again when I click  to close the calendar. Weirdly enough, this change of colour will not be reflected by the appointments displayed in KOrganizer until I close and open it again.

Pictures of the applet's calendar being opened twice in a row with no other changes. Notice the changed colour of the dots. The dots that are consistent in colour are events for the moon phases that the applet itself offers.

Re: Calendars in KOrganizer change colour

I also have this issue. Found something relevant, with a proposed workaround:

I probably managed to find a solution. Basically it involves “reinstalling” the calendars:

Disable both calendars in the calendar view by unchecking them.
Remove the birthday calendar in the settings for calendars but retain the personal calendar.
    Set calendar colours to defaults.
Close Kontact, log off, and log on again.
Start Kontact, add the birthday calendar once again.
Enable both calendars in the calendar view by checking them
Change the colours in the colour settings to the preferred ones.

Since that the colours don’t change any more.

Re: Calendars in KOrganizer change colour

Hey, how did you manage to set the calendars to their default colour? I've not found an option for that.
