SteamVR unable to access system bluetooth

I am using Hyprland and am getting the error message of bluetooth not available when looking at bluetooth settings, also, steamvr did not just work out of the box after installing, it would only launch after I set env QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb %command% in properties.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

I use Hyprland with Bluetooth just fine.  How are are you interacting with bluetooth?

What are the output of:

bluetoothctl list
bluetooth show
and
rfkill
?

As for Hyperland, I am using both bluman-applet (appears in waybar) and rofi-blutooth (available through a keyboard bind)

I am using bluez-5 and blueman, and bluetooth is running just fine:

Bleutoothctl list, just keyboard connected:

Controller 58:1C:F8:2D:5D:9C MLBarch [default]

bluetooth show:

zsh: command not found: bluetooth
bluetooth may be found in the following packages:
extra/tlp 1.6.1-1

rfkill:

ID TYPE      DEVICE      SOFT      HARD
0 wlan      phy0   unblocked unblocked
1 bluetooth hci0   unblocked unblocked

Im going to install tlp, maybe that will resolve the issue, I will reply to this if it has

I installed the module, it shows bluetooth on when I run the command you asked me to, the issue is still not resolved

How are you starting hyprland, what's your output for

loginctl session-status
printenv DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS
