KDE fonts problem

Hello. I have been using Arch as an FTP/HTTP when I develop web sites.

Now I'm trying to develop the sites directly on my Arch machine. So I have KDE up and running.
The problem is, that my web pages are written on a windows editor (PSPAD) and are Cyrillic Encoded (Charset Windows 1251).
I can view the in my web browser (Konqueror, Mozilla), but kate, kwrite, etc. don't dispaly them.
They just dispay bank spaces instead of Cyrillic chars.
So I suppose, I shoul install the proper font in KDE.

Is that the right way and How to do it?
Thank you.

Edit: I have copied some fonts:

[root@arch etc]# fc-cache -v
fc-cache: "/usr/share/fonts": skipping, 0 fonts, 9 dirs
fc-cache: "/usr/share/fonts/encodings": skipping, 0 fonts, 1 dirs
fc-cache: "/usr/share/fonts/encodings/large": skipping, 0 fonts, 0 dirs
fc-cache: "/usr/share/fonts/75dpi": skipping, 0 fonts, 0 dirs

Re: KDE fonts problem

I have installed the Bulgarian pack for KDE and everything displais fine (environment, browser). The fonts in files open with kate/kwrite etc are with squares whete the Bulgarian letters should be.
I have installed TTF fonts, copied some Cyrillic TTF fonts, arch finds them but does not recognise their encoding in programs!
How to make it recognise them properly? Please, help if you can sad

huh, i solved it. i didn't notice the option for encoding in kate wink
