[SOLVED] DRM on but Wayland lagging A LOT in KDE(Nvidia GT 710)

Hello, I have installed arch with KDE. I have a gt 710. So using the nvidia arch wiki site, I followed all the steps, installed the required drivers(470xx), dkms, headers, added the modules to mkinitcpio, and also turned on DRM for wayland. But when I login to Wayland Session, it lags so much that it becomes straight up unusable. Nvidia settings also dont launch there. But in X11 session it runs better smooth and everything just works.

Wayland support in the proprietary drivers only got really useful in newer 550xx versions and the actual API that everyone relies on only got introduced in the 495 drivers and beyond. So this is very likely par for the course if you can't run a newer driver and don't want to opt for nouveau.
