Suggestion: news page with optional "reader" mode

When you visit https://archlinux.org/ you see the five most recent news items on the front page, and that's usually more than enough. E.g., currently the fifth item is from March 29, 2024, roughly seven months ago, so even if you only visited the front page every six months you'd still see all the news items you haven't read yet.

But if you visit https://archlinux.org/news/ then what you see is a list of news item titles, which each need to be clicked individually to read them.

For someone who (like me) wants to read through the news history conveniently, this requires either setting up an RSS reader, or a bunch of clicks to open tabs which I'll close one at a time as I read them. Either way involves a little bit of work.

What would be really nice would be a reader view on https://archlinux.org/news/ that would show the body of multiple news items, 10 or 20 to a page, just the same way that the front page shows the most recent five. Then reading news items as far back into the history as I want to would involve some scrolling but a lot fewer clicks.

When I went looking to see if anyone else had suggested this, I found https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=99507 which has a link to the archweb source. However, that link is now broken (presumably due to the Git migration), and I couldn't find the archweb source in a quick search through https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux. I'm willing to submit a PR to implement this suggestion if someone can point me to the current location of the source code.

Is this something that sounds like a good idea to anyone else, or am I the only one who wanted a reader view for the https://archlinux.org/news/ page?
