Any recomendations for picom animations for dwm ?

Since I'm ricing my dwm setup, I really want to have some picom animations. I checked that there are repos in github with some picom forks with animations, suggested by tutorials. But I'm not sure why you should have a fork of picom if you had the original version of picom. Since picom does have a config file that you can use like any dotfile: why not just copy the config file ? I assume that there are some things that I'm missing.

So if that's the case, which picom fork do you recomend for dwm ? I know that there are some picom forks in the aur, but there is anything in extra ?
