Firstly, let me get this out of the way: it was working until a system upgrade, so something broke in that update.
Secondly: Other Wayland environments work [Gnome, and cosmic were tested]
Anyway... Hello, I've got no idea how to acquire the logs I would need to even begin to troubleshoot the system locking up when starting plasma under wayland. The journal is not journaling anything when the startpasma-wayland command is run from what I can tell.
I've attached a pastebin containing the entire journal until I reboot the system Here.
Additionally here is the full update log for the day it broke.
The command for the journal was
journalctl -xb-1Hopefully you can guide me through finding what I am missing, this is the first time I've encountered a breaking change that seems to be undocumented everywhere.
Resolved: Issue was kernel command line broke after a nvidia driver update, after fixing the driver commands it works.
As for the logs, I still can't find them, but that's less of an issue.
