Unable to pair bluetooth headset

Hi! I'm trying to pair my Sony Linkbuds S to my laptop, but bluetoothctl outputs the following when trying to pair / connect:

Failed to connect: org.bluez.Error.Failed br-connection-timeout

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi. Just to be sure, is there any chance that your buds are already connected to another device? May be your phone?  That said, make sure your bluetooth service is up and running with "systemctl status bluetooth". If it is not running, start it (systemctl start bluetooth).
You can also try Blueman bluetooth manager. It may be helpful for troubleshooting some issues.
