Bluetooth headphones connected, but audio plays through laptop speaker

I've never had any issues connecting my Bluetooth headphones to my laptop before, but yesterday, when I tried connecting them through Bluetoothctl (as usual), the audio still came through my laptop speakers instead of the headphones, even though they appeared to be connected. I tested the headphones with my smartphone, and they work fine there, so the problem seems to be with my laptop.

I don’t recall making any changes to my Bluetooth settings recently. Has anyone experienced something similar or have any ideas on how to fix this?
