[SOLVED] Network interface suddenly disappeared

Hey all, my network interface suddenly isn't recognized by my laptop anymore. ip -a doesn't show it and the output of "lspci -k | grep -i net" is empty. I don't know what the cause could be.
What's maybe worth noting though, is that today I set up cups for printing and the device name suddenly changed from wlan0 to wlp6s0. I just changed the name of the interface in /etc/systemd/network/25-wireless.network under the [Match] section and changed wpa_supplicant@wlan0 to wpa_supplicant@wlp6s0 (moved the config file, disabled the new and enabled the old service). Now when I boot, the service is not startim, as the interface can not be found. Please tell me what information you need. Thanks in advance!

Re: [SOLVED] Network interface suddenly disappeared

Please post your complete system journal for the boot:

sudo journalctl -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st

Is there a parallel windows installation?

the device name suddenly changed from wlan0 to wlp6s0

Did you uninstall iwd?

Re: [SOLVED] Network interface suddenly disappeared

I have absolutely no clue what happened but for some reason it just started working again. I have spent hours trying to fix it and now after the 20th reboot it just fixed itself without me doing anything special. Sorry to have wasted your time an thanks for the quick reply!
