First, apologies if I should have posted elsewhere (newbie corner?). New Arch user and things are going very smoothly with the exception of getting audio from an old 1995 game that I use Wine to play.
I went with PulseAudio for sound and it seems to play nice otherwise. Keyboard buttons control volume, youtube plays, etc. I've followed directions found in through google and forums that I can find with no change. I *think* I have all of the lib-32 plugins etc. needed, winecfg tells me the selected driver is winepule.drv, and nothing seems to be muted.
Would anyone be so kind as to help me solve this issue?
If it matters, the game in question is Exile III: Ruined World from Spiderweb Software. Worked in Wine with Linux Mint.

I resolved the issue! Please delete or ignore this post, or maybe it will help someone else...
I had at some point in my journey installed both pipewire packages and pulseaudio packages and they were not playing nice together. I removed all pulseaudio and it's dependencies and everything magically works- save for the volume buttons on my keyboard. But that's something I'll worry about later...

Cool. We don't delete posts when solved so they can serve as a resource to others trying to solve the same problem. Rather, we ask you to edit your first post in the thread and add [Solved] to the beginning of the thread title.
