[SOLVED] nvidia refresh rate problem

I recently switched to Linux and enjoy watching movies. My monitor supports 75 Hz and 60 Hz refresh rates. In Windows, I set it to 72 Hz using Nvidia's custom resolution feature, which improved playback at 23.976 or 24 fps. I've tried various settings in Linux but haven't succeeded. I have an Nvidia GPU and use X11. Any advice on achieving 72 Hz in Arch Linux would be appreciated. Thank you.
