Issues with BTRFS file system

After startup and logging into my user, a few minutes later an error occurs on the BTRFS filesystem, which is mounted to /home. Programs stop working and I can't log in to my user, but I can log in as root via tty.
I have upgraded the system and done a btrfs check --repair, but the problem still persists.

Had similar issue after updating kernel 6.11.8 -> 6.11.9

Mount failed due to missing vfat module

Verify kernel versions are matching:

uname -r

should match contents of

ls /lib/modules/

I don't have a problem with mounting. The problem occurs after a few minutes of system operation. Also the problem persists after I changed several kernel versions, including linux-lts.

TL;DR: histories shows that you should do backup, check if drive isn't faulty and recreate partition(s) as btrfs or other type of fs, as this kind of errors are not simple to repair (or btrfs tools are so weak at repairing this fs):

Thanks for reply, i will do btrfs scrap and if it won't help, i will just recreate fs. Maybe btrfs isn't enough good yet

btrfs has also the weakness its raid6 implementation as issues and is adviced to not be used
and although I would argue that zfs is "better" in that regard unfortunately it isn't - there're about as many topics about zfs errors with not-importable pools or data loss due to code bugs causing issues
but unless using drives with 520 sectors both btrfs and zfs are better than using md or lvm

I find out that zfs also has it's weakness, like btrfs and it's raid5/6.

zfs native encryption + snapshotting & zfs send/recv = data corruption (unresolvable like btrfs & raid 5/6) - https://www.phoronix.com/news/OpenZFS-Encrypt-Corrupt

So we are waiting for bcachefs weakness... maybe it will be it's main developer that has problems with other kernel developers...
