So, suspend2 works beautifully, even in X, except for the fact that all of my usb related things (wireless card and mouse) stop working. Since i use dwm, it is not a problem since I can quit all of my applications with the keyboard, then shutdown, but I really want suspend2 to work all of the way. I am using the beyond kernel, desktop pc, usb mouse (logitech), and suspend to a swap file.
It seems as though all of the modules auto-loaded by udev aren't being loaded, but in my mkinicpio.conf, it reads
HOOKS="base udev autodetect ide scsi sata resume filesystems
, so I have no clue what is going wrong?
Any ideas?
Cheers,

I do not think that it is an udev problem. The usb drivers have some historical problems with suspension: these problems can disappear and reappear randomly in different kernel releases. Anyway, the solution is simply to unload automatically the modules (ohci, ehci, uhci & friends, or only some of them); the hibernate-script has specific configuration options in order to do this.
