Hello guys,
So I have just set up my new Arch Linux install with GNOME DE, and everything has been working fine except the bluetooth. For some reason, the bluetooth worked when I first downloaded the bluez, bluez-utils packages. Worked for a while and then refuses to search or be discoverable again.
Things I have tried:
Connecting through bluetoothctl, shows "power on", "agent on", and "scan on", shows the mac address of my bluetooth device with discoverable: Yes and Discovering: Yes but never shows any of my bluetooth devices.
Reinstalling the package bluez and bluez-install
Disabling iwd and only enabling bluetooth.services and Network Manager.
Please help me, this is the last piece of the puzzle before I can start setting up my development environment.
[bluetooth]# hci0 new_settings: powered bondable ssp br/edr le secure-conn wide-band-speech cis-central cis-peripheral
[bluetooth]# Agent registered
[bluetooth]# [CHG] Controller C0:35:32:8F:48:A0 Pairable: yes
[bluetooth]#

Which kernel package do you have installed? Does it work when you install, configure and boot the "linux-lts" package?
Offline
Also please post your complete system journal for the boot:
sudo journalctl -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st
after failing to detect peers so we can see the involved HW and maybe symptoms.
Ceterum censeo: is there a parallel windows installation?
Online
Turns out it was a Adapter issue. Got fixed, perfect timing however.
