Hi having problems with network manager out of nowhere it just randomly stopped working after my pc had been running fine for a while. My Ethernet connection just went down and ive checked my systemctl services and i have no conflicting network daemons, i even tried disabling Network Manager and just using systemd services but it just endlessly "processes". I then noticed that not only am i missing anything in /etc/systemd/network but my /etc/resolv.conf is one line saying "#Generated by Network Manager" and thats it.
This would had lead me to believe there are network services conflicting but ive triple checked my systemctl services and tried disabling systemd-networkd. I have no idea why its happening and the "systemctl status NetworkManager" output is not helpful, i cant paste it all because well my pc doesnt have internet, but the long and short of it is a whole lot of the following statement
"state change: ip-config -> failed (reason 'ip-config-unavailable'. managed-type: 'full')"
followed by timeouts oh yes and at the top it says "preset: disabled" (duno if thats normal). if it will solve it im happy copying out the entire output but it doesnt seem to indicate the error clearly. As i said i would have thought based on all this for sure its an error with conflicting systemctl daemons but im sure network manager is the only network daemon running. Any help would be amazing!
