The issue encountered is that when the WPS software is being closed, it gets stuck or hangs for approximately 20 to 30 seconds.
Has anyone encountered the same problem? Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
update 1: stuck or hangs when clicking the close button[x], when using the menu, exit, there were no stuck....

That output looks like it is from a pacman wrapper .
What was the exact command you used to start the update ?
Does WPS refer to wps-office from AUR ?
If so, which aur package are you using ?
Edited for clarity.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

I think Lone_Wolf meant "You are using a pacman wrapper" - what are you using to update this system? Especially the 'pacman -Sy" seems dangerous.
