I cannot find "paperless-ngx" in the AUR anymore. It is still linked in the wiki (https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Paperless) though.
What happenend?

Thanks. How would I have known it got merged? - whats the normal procedure to tell users?
Are there any hints how to migrate or can I just install paperless-ngx-venv?

I just install paperless-ngx-venv
Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
There're no notifactions reg. package removals, migrations etc.
The AUR is the wild west, you need to keep an eye open to dodge bullets. Always.
Edit: if you're using an AUR helper it could™
1. notice that one of your AUR packages no longer exists
2. scan the database for alternatives (paperless-ngx-venv is marked as replacing paperless-ngx)
3. present that information and some options to you.

As seth said there is no procedure really, but AUR package merging and deletion requests usually have to go through the mailing list I posted, so it is a useful first stop to search through if something like this happens.

In general I would check the comments on the AUR page of the package. In this particular case there are no mentions of any required migration steps, but it does seem like there might still be some unsolved transitional issues for now.

There are notifications in AUR.
Visit the aur page for a package while logged in.
Click enable notifications.
Goto 'My Account' , scroll down to see the notification settings .
You can get an email notification for new comments, package updates and ownership updates.
Keep in mind this is a global setting valid for all packages you have enabled notications for.
merges & removals typically trigger the last 2, but package updates also include all changes to a PKGBUILD.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
