virt-manager dark mode and icon theme

Hello.

I use KDE Plasma and X11.

I would like to use virt-manager in darkmode but for the life of me cannot figure out how without spending hours
wading through stuff about GNOME and GTK settings when I just want my eyes to be spared a few seconds of torturous light lol.

This is my current theme:

I found that running this...

 $ GTK_THEME=Adwaita:dark virt-manager

...runs virt-manager in dark mode, but the icon theme does not change to the desired one. Though I dont know how
to make this persistent and system/user wide. Meaning I have to run this every time with my current knowledge.
