After installing grub, I can't see arch as an option.

I installed it with the command the https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/GRUB page recommended but I replaced esp with boot, where I mounted it. I also generated the config with the command from there. I was also chrooted and I had linux on the partition. I'm on a gpt system, but it shouldn't be a problem. The partition had 50MB, so size shouldn't also be a problem. The arch partition is set as Linux FIlesystem because that's what appeared when I entered "LInux Root" in fdisk when changing the type in fdisk. The root was formated to ext4 while the boot was fat32.

Quick update, I tried installing gummiboot as a temporary solution until I get an answer but I had the same problem.

Another quick update, I tried to change the partition type to root again by copying the id and I redid the grub config, but it sadly still didn't work.

Please do not paraphrase, but post the actual commands you ran. In the same way, post the actual output.
If you are in a state, where you can not easily paste the outout to the browser, use a pastebin service. See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/List_o … n_services

What is your disk layout?
Is this a first installation or was it working before?
A partition with 50MB sounds quite small.

50MB will absolutely not be enough for an ESP that's supposed to house the kernel. 50MB is enough if you mount it to /efi and install GRUB there but keep the kernel on an appropriately sized root partition in the /boot directory.
