Help with KDE Plasma: Configuring Independent Sessions for Activities

I hope you can assist me with an issue I'm experiencing with KDE Plasma regarding Activities and session management. I'm trying to configure my system so that each Activity in KDE Plasma has its own independent session, and I want to ensure that after logging out and back in, my sessions are restored to the Activities they were in before I logged out.

Here are the details of my setup and what I've tried so far:

- **KDE Plasma Version**:  6.2.4
- **System Information**:
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.8.0
Qt Version: 6.8.0
Kernel Version: 6.6.63-1-lts (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland

- **Current Configuration**: I've attempted to enable session isolation by editing the `kdeglobals` file and setting `ActivitiesSessionIsolation` to `true`, but this doesn't seem to have any effect.

**What I've Tried:**
1. Editing the `kdeglobals` configuration file to enable Activities session isolation.
2. Restarting the Plasma session and the system multiple times to ensure the changes take effect.
3. Checking for updates and ensuring my system is up to date.

**What I'm Looking For:**
- Is there a specific setting or configuration file I need to modify to achieve independent sessions for each Activity in KDE Plasma, and to ensure these sessions persist across logins?
- Has anyone else encountered this issue, and if so, how did you resolve it?
- Are there any known issues or bugs in the version of KDE Plasma I'm using that might be causing this problem?

I've searched the forums and the Arch Wiki but haven't found a solution that works for my specific case. I'm particularly looking for a solution that ensures when I log back in, my previous session is restored within the same Activity it was in before I logged out.

Wayland session restore is very wonky and very much WIP. Afaik you can only really expect that to work properly on a xorg session, as xorg has actual facilities that help with session restore. However I've never used Activiities much so I'm somewhat wondering whether this ever even worked the way you're envisioning it. Do you have any references that make you think this should be possible that way?

I haven't found any official documentation on this, but I hope to achieve session isolation for each Activity.
