sof2 cpu usage problem

the game take 100% cpu usage although he had lower Requirements
{
High-End / Asskicking:
PIV - 1.5 GHZ
256 MB RAM
GeForce 3 or similar
}
i have nvidia driver- and card 6600gt
cpu- amd 3000
there is any chance that the game dont use the gpu and therefor the cpu have more work?
