Audio input problem in davinci resolve

In fairlight section you can record and have to choose audio input wich i cannot https://imgur.com/a/SgtgBQ0, instead of my audio inputs i see a 1..8ALSA.
Im using Davinci Resolve Studio 19.1.1 (currently latest) downloaded from installer from official website, same problem occur on DR 18.
Since i have AMD rx580 i use latest drivers that works with DR wich are:

  • amdgpu-pro-oglp 23.10_1620044-1

  • opencl-amd 1:5.7.1-1

To launch DR i use

ROC_ENABLE_PRE_VEGA=1 LD_PRELOAD="/usr/lib/libgio-2.0.so /usr/lib/libgmodule-2.0.so /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so" progl resolve

Thanks.

Re: Audio input problem in davinci resolve

Are you using pipewire or pulseaudio normally? Install pipewire-alsa or pulseaudio-alsa respectively. Pick the first device, check whether it shows.

Re: Audio input problem in davinci resolve

micro works in other apps and shows in output of

$ pw-cli ls Node
id 51, type PipeWire:Interface:Node/3
                object.serial = "51"
                object.path = "alsa:acp:Device:1:capture"
                factory.id = "19"
                client.id = "41"
                device.id = "43"
                priority.session = "2000"
                priority.driver = "2000"
                node.description = "USB PnP Audio Device Mono"
                node.name = "alsa_input.usb-0c76_USB_PnP_Audio_Device-00.mono-fallback"
                node.nick = "USB PnP Audio Device"
                media.class = "Audio/Source"

and

$ arecord -l
card 2: Device [USB PnP Audio Device], device 0: USB Audio [USB Audio]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

    amdgpu-pro-oglp 23.10_1620044-1

Do things work if you use DR with opensource video drivers &  opencl-rusticl-mesa ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
