Poor pinch-to-zoom detection on KDE

Frequently, when I move my fingers in pinch pattern, libinput debug-events is showing something other than GESTURE_PINCH_* (e.g. POINTER_MOTION). Consequently, applications that uses pinch (such as firefox, or google-chrome) does not result in zooming. (I've also posted this bug on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1915803)

Re: Poor pinch-to-zoom detection on KDE

If it shows erroneous in libinput debug-events, it's either libinput or the kernel and/or your hardware, neither KDE nor Firefox have an influence on this, you'll have to either pinch better or potentially report a bug to libinput.

What hardware exactly?
