Hi guys. I'm new in the Linux world. I chose the Arch Linux. And I'm very happy until now.
I'm passing thro a problem. I'm trying to install my printer. It is a Canon Pixma G2110 and I know Canon doesn't have an official driver for it. Is there any way to use my printer in Linux or I have to buy another printer? Thanks

If https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/CUPS/P … Everywhere isn't supported, you could test https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/cano … 5-complete (it lists some G2xxx and G3xxx models)
That being said: https://lists.cups.org/pipermail/cups/2 … 56467.html - it's hard to believe it didn't get added over hte past 8 years… and it does seem to be in https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x8 … rint-ppds/ ?

Thanks seth. I installed the Canon Pixma G2000 - CUPS + Gutenprint v5.3.4 and the printer is working. I`m not shure yet about the scanner, I have to discover how to test it
