Linux Gaming on an older Thinkpad

Hi! I have a Thinkpad T440 (CPU: Intel Core i5-4300U, GPU Intel Haswell-ULT Integrated Graphics) and I've installed Steam, with vulkan-intel drivers and lib32-vulkan-intel drivers but when I'm trying to play most of the games in my Steam library it keeps throwing DirectX errors at me. For example, trying to launch "Needy Streamer Overload" gives me this error

 Failed to initialize graphics.
Make sure you have DirectX 11 installed, have up to date
drivers for your graphics card and have not disabled
3D acceleration in display settings.
InitializeEngineGraphics failed

Am I to presume this is because my GPU is too old to use Vulkan? Or is this another issue, maybe I've installed something wrong? I'm not sure tongue

Re: Linux Gaming on an older Thinkpad

Try the lib32-mesa-amber & mesa-amber packages.

Re: Linux Gaming on an older Thinkpad

this did not help, but i opened steam through the terminal and it kept yelling "MESA-INTEL: warning: Haswell Vulkan support is incomplete" so i think the issue might just be how old my hardware is ^-^'

Re: Linux Gaming on an older Thinkpad

Yeah, Haswell is pretty old now. Sorry d00d.
