[SOLVED] System shows black screen on boot, not even a TTY

Hi,

Within the last few days, my system has shown a completely black screen on boot. Not just a black screen, the display itself is off.

The only way I've managed to get it to work consistently is to run mkinitcpio -P in the installation media in a chroot, and even then it only works for the next boot.

I can still ping the system from other devices on the network when it's showing a black screen.

Here's some system info:

CPU: Ryzen 9 7950X
GPU: Radeon RX 7800 XT
Kernel: 6.12.3.zen1-1
systemd: 256.9-1
mkinitcpio: 39.2-2

I put amdgpu in the MODULES=() array in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf and it works now.
