volume meters in pavucontrol

I believe this is due to an update.. but haven't been able to figure out top what.. or when...

The volume meters in pavucontrol no longer show for me,  but they do work in pavucontrol-qt:

Has anyone else encountered this?

Any idea what I should check next?

Thanks!

Re: volume meters in pavucontrol

Latest update of Pulseaudio is broken for me too. Just don't see any devices and no volume controls in Gnome.
Downgraded and all working again.

downgraded libpulse (17.0+r43+g3e2bb8a1e-1 -> 17.0-3)
downgraded pulseaudio (17.0+r43+g3e2bb8a1e-1 -> 17.0-3)
downgraded pulseaudio-bluetooth (17.0+r43+g3e2bb8a1e-1 -> 17.0-3)
downgraded lib32-libpulse (17.0+r43+g3e2bb8a1e-1 -> 17.0-1)

Re: volume meters in pavucontrol

I'm running pipewire+pulse. I downgraded the one of those I have installed (libpulse) made no difference.

In the mean time I also tried pavumeter (via AUR) and pulse-vumeter (https://github.com/theRealCarneiro/pulse-vumeter)
both of those show volume levels.

still at a lose sad

Re: volume meters in pavucontrol

well.. switching nvidia drivers (away from 470xx) for yesterday/todays updates fixed it... weird...
