Hi,
recently bought this laptop in the chinese market, and I'm quite happy with it. It sells as XiaoXin Pro 14 AHP9 in China but in Europe it uses the IdeaPad brand.
After having applied some of the fixes suggested in the wiki pages, I'm still struggling with the suspend feature: not always but often it will suspend correctly but reboot on wake. The screen stays dark for a few seconds and then it just reboots. Things I've tried:
- Blacklist the `ideapad_laptop` module. This seemed to work at first but after a few attempts the issue was back.
- Use Smokeless_UMAF to enable S3 mode. This seems to cause a freeze when trying to suspend instead of a reboot.
- Used Smokeless_UMAF to try the other variants: s0i2, s0i3, s0i2+s0i3 , .... Issue still happens
- Tried the ideapad-laptop-tb2024g6plus-dkms module. Same thing.
I've tried running the amd_s2idle script and oddly enough, the suspend triggered by the tests seems to work fine every single time (except when I use S3 suspend, where it lists a bunch of potential issues). It might be that the issue is related to how the wake up is triggered.
Is there anyone out there experiencing the same issues? Did you find any fix? Any other suggestions?
[update]: As this seems like it's going to die for now, I'm adding some additional context for future users arriving here:
- Firmware version (BIOS): NBCN22WW (latest as of now)
- Kernel version: Linux 6.12.4-arch1-1

According to this docs it is a known problem, but the article doesn't seem to have a solution .

I wrote that in the wiki myself to warn other potential buyers in the forum about this laptop. Sad, because appart from that it's a great laptop for the price.
