ATLauncher and Sway

I play a good amout of modded minecraft, and I prefer ATLauncher. I also prefer swaywm, but ATL just doesnt properly start on sway, it displays blank grey windows, i cant even close them without issuing a kill command to put them out of their misery. any advice, or is it just not compatible. im tired of having to use gnome just to play minecraft with my friends.
