I have a (7th gen?) NUC worked fine for years. Plugged into TV for HDMI audio & video.
SInce last update 2-3 days ago the audio is not working.
In the GNOME settings it says 'no sound'. I can see 'HDMI audio' as the output device on the login screen, but can't adjust the volume there.
aplay seems to know about the HDM audio outputs:
root@gronk # aplay -l

Thanks
