Kde Plasma useing wayland (x11 same issue)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X
GPU: Radeon 7900 XTX 24GB(had a 3060 12GBbefore same issue)
Mainboard:Pro B650 wifi
swap 32GB
2 Screens connected with Display Port
As above, I can't wake up my system properly, it's just black when I do so, mouse gets power, keyboard does not since the LED at the CAPS LOG is not bright.
I have to unplug my PC when I do this to reboot it.
I had the same problem on a previous system with an RTX 3060, so I bought a 7900 XTX, but I still have the same problem.

Because of the hard reboot the journal doesn't contain any messages after the wakeup, but a quick filter

Try the behavior w/ the LTS kernel, the problem is likely related to the bluetooth component of the chip.

Ok, it seems to work with the LTS kernel now, thx.
My question now is should I change the title as solved since it's not really solved because I am now using the LTS?

See the other threads listed in https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 0#p2215900 - you could report this one as duplicate and susbscribe to all or one of them.
Though ideally you'd also make sure it's the mt7921e module by blacklisting that (there're also other mitigation strategies in those threads, notably if you don't need bluetooth)

I am going to close this duplicate thread by request. Fart4you, if you need it reopened, use the report function again to make the request. Thanks
